Do you have enough managerial experience to grow a team from 7 to 11 consultants by the end of this year?

For a rapidly growing scale up, we are currently exclusively recruiting for a Teamlead. In this role you will instantly become end-responsible for growing and sustaining your own discipline that consists of 7 direct reports. Within this role you will have the responsibility to develop your own strategy on how to increase the productivity and ultimately hire at least 4 other consultants by the end of this year.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Build a strategy to maximize revenues including business development and account management

Build and communicate a team vision linking individual contribution to the regional vision

Oversee the performance of a team and lead them to achieve individual and team targets

Monitor individual performance and identify potential training areas for improvement
-
Actively address any underperformance within the team with relevant coaching and training
-
Report to Senior Management on a monthly basis on both team and individual performance
-
Understand and act upon each team member’s motivations and career aspirations
-
Create and reinforce a positive, supportive and sales-based working environment and culture
-
Conduct effective appraisals, coach and develop consultants towards self-sufficiency

Clarify expectation of performance and provides constructive feedback and advice

Identify and be fully involved with the hiring of new talent

Prepare and deliver talent & development training sessions

Chair regular team meetings to give areas of focus and motivation to the team

Proactively share best practices and consistently lead by example in these areas

Seek to keep developing your technical understanding of your sector and relay this to the team

REQUIREMENTS
-
At least 3 years of managerial experience at a reputable recruitment firm
-
Track record of great individual and team billings
-
Demonstrated experience in growing teams and acquiring business
-
Ability to prioritize, manage own time and monitor progress to ensure deadlines are met

Mature, confident and business minded team player
-
Combination of excellent commercial, strategic and managerial qualities
