Do you have what it takes to lead more than 20 consultants, be responsible for at least €600.000 of turnover every month and run 2 successful brands?

For a renowned and stock listed recruitment firm, we are currently recruiting for an Executive Manager that is ready for the challenge to expand 4 teams of 20 consultants to at least 30 consultants by the end of 2019.

With more than 10 years of history within the Dutch market, this client managed to create a reputable name for itself. In addition to its reputation as the market leader within its sector, this recruitment firm happens to be well-known for being an amazing employer because of the career opportunities, flexibility and supportive working environment it offers. Even though most renowned recruitment firms seem to be highly KPI driven and have strict guidelines on how business is supposed to be done, the Managing Director happens to be an advocate for a personalized approach and is therefore open to all sorts of suggestions on how to conduct business more effectively. Because there are is no hierarchy or whatsoever within this organization, you will be directly reporting into the Managing Director of the Benelux. Due to the fact that the consultants appear to be considerably productive already, there is no limit on hiring for now. The MD expects to grow its 98 employees within Benelux at least to 125 employees by the end of this year.

RESPONSIBILITIES
As an Executive Manager your responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
​
• Develop a commercial understanding of the market, from both a client and candidate perspective
• Build a strategy to maximize revenues including business development and account management
• Build and communicate a team vision linking individual contribution to the regional vision
• Manage the performance of each team member, team lead and manager
• Generate sufficient revenues for the P/L of 4 teams
• Monitor individual performance and identify potential training areas for improvement
• Actively address any underperformance within the teams with relevant coaching and training
• Conduct effective appraisals, coach and develop team leads and managers towards self-sufficiency
• Develop and optimize the talent & development materials and career path
• Create and reinforce a positive, supportive and sales-based working environment and culture
• Identify and be fully involved with the hiring of new talent
• Responsible for mentoring and upskilling the current consultants and managers
• Negotiate commercial terms key accounts
• Take an active role in optimizing the business processes
• Lead by example in behaviors and values

REQUIREMENTS
In order to be taken into consideration for this role you must at least possess the following:
​
• 5 years of managerial experience at a reputable recruitment firm
• Excellent understanding of P/L management
• Demonstrated experience in growing teams
• Great commercial, strategic and leadership qualities
