Due to the fact that the CEO of this recruitment firm needs to focus on all other sorts of activities to run and expand the business, we are currently recruiting for an Associate Director to take the responsibilities over from the CEO of running the Benelux market and managing 8 teams consisting of 30 consultants.

RESPONSIBILITIES

•             Build a strategy to maximize revenues including business development and account management

•             Contribute to the international expansion strategies and attend board of directors meetings

•             Build and communicate a vision of the business linking individual contribution to the collective vision

•             Negotiate commercial terms with key accounts

•             Generate sufficient revenues for the P/L of 8 teams consisting of > 30 consultants

•             Responsible for mentoring and upskilling the current consultants and managers

•             Monitor individual performance and identify potential training areas for improvement

•             Actively address any underperformance within the teams with relevant coaching and training

•             Conduct effective appraisals, coach and develop team leads and managers towards self-sufficiency

•             Develop and optimize the talent & development materials and career path

•             Create and reinforce a positive, supportive and sales-based working environment and culture 

•             Chair regular town hall & MT meetings to give areas of focus and motivation to the team

•             Initiate incentives to stimulate both the team and individual performances

•             Identify and be fully involved with the hiring of new talent

•             Take an active role in optimizing the business processes 

•             Lead by example in behaviors and values

REQUIREMENTS

•              5-10 years of managerial experience at a reputable recruitment firm

•              Track record of successfully managing and growing teams

•              Demonstrated experience in strategic, people and financial management

•              Ability to prioritize, manage own time and monitor progress to ensure deadlines are met

•              Mature, confident and business minded team player

•              Combination of excellent commercial, strategic and managerial qualities
